What do Leaders look like at the end of the day

So what happens to Cub Scout Leaders at the end of the day when they have been working hard all day and the Cub Scouts have finished for the day?

Cub Scout Activities today (26 September 2018)

While some of our Cub Scouts were out watching whales and offsite, others were participating in a number of base activities.

Members from the Barrier Reef village were reliving the excitement of colonial Australia and participating in a Gold Rush, enjoying traditional fare with damper.  Another opportunity was provided to see how Cub Scouts could overcome some challenges moving water around when the bucket and pipe have holes in them.

At the Myths and Legends base the Undara Cub Scouts participated in more scientific type pursuits, explored the story of the Rainbow Serpent, were involved in a chariot race and tackled the climbing wall.  The Branch heritage arm ran a side show alley set of activities including knocking down various tiles to reveal a secret about Cub Scouting.

In the State of Origin base the Carnarvon Cub Scouts were involved in a number of competitive team orientated challenges.

Cuboree Campfire

After a long day of activities the Cub Scouts attended the campfire tonight.  While the winds came up and made it slightly blustery they warmed themselves up with some classic, and not so classic camp songs.

Carnavon Village - Whale Watching

The Cub Scouts from Carnarvon Village enjoyed getting out and checking out the whales.  A few pictures from their outing as well as village life.
